Hey guys,
A week or two ago I was frustrated and stressed out about zoning. I was so much in my head about being a perfectionist and making every isle look to perfection. So, I posted a thread and got some great advice from everyone on this forum.
This past Wednesday I had a sales floor shift and I was assigned A to zone. I just kept thinking in my head to just zone, don't worry about details, don't worry about every single item being perfectly aligned, just go go go. I made sure if I was staying in an isle for too long, I'd stop for a second and move on. I had finished my zone quicker which allowed me to help out in other areas and my LOD complimented me saying that it looked great.
I just left Target smiling.. what? Does this actually happen? I just felt a bit of a weight lifted off my shoulder. I know it's just zoning, big whoop, but it was one thing that has been bugging me constantly and the fact I was able to just get past it, I felt a sense of accomplishment.
I also took your guys advice on reshop. Any reshop I grabbed before I started my zone, I made sure to put back when I reached that isle and when I put reshop in my cart during my zone, I didn't wait till the end to put it all back; if I saw the item, I would grab and put it back.
Thanks guys for the advice, it really helped me and my stress and it's great to have this forum!
