Archived ad takedown process

Hey all. New to the forum, but I've lurked for a while. Spent almost three years with the spot, most of it in AP in three stores.

I have a question about takedown. My store does takedown on Saturday nights. They physically take the signs down starting around 8, and then three or so people sit with PDAs and hand key down each sign, rather than scanning them as they go. I help with it, and get off at 1130 on Saturdays; I have yet to see them finish before I leave.

Is this normal? It seems so inefficient compared to scanning them down lounge the other two stores i worked in.

AP gets to do a lot of weird stuff here. I've pushed a ton of CAFs, lots of go backs... you name it. I much prefer to focus on my core roles, but such is life.
