So there is a situation happening at my DC with OT. A few of us have signed up on Mondays and Saturdays for a half shift for OT and it hasn't been called. Tuesday through Friday All OT has been approved. I always ask before the weekend what projections are for Monday and the past couple weeks projections have been exceeded. One of the TM's has already spoken to our OM SOM and PC. This has yielded no change. What should we do next, as we want OT and feel this scheduling practice is not fair towards us.

Business needs. There is nothing you can do besides switching to a key and getting that ot during the week. Vast majority of workload is during the week.

Also, people signing up for half shifts are less likely to get approved than people who sign up for full shifts. OMs don’t want to make a bunch of adjustments mid-way because half of a department left.
