Has any one heard the results of the team survey we took in the spring?
As a former specialist who is capped and not had a raise in 4 years and will
probably NEVER get another one, I definitely gave them a bad rating on the pay question!
Feel free to reply with any comments at all about the survey and if you think it does any good.

if you have not had a raise in 4 years I might suggest you ask about your performance. In order to receive a raise
each year, you need to be exceeding expectations, getting all the work done, solving problems, helping others,
stepping outside your usual work area, and asking for more responsibilities. You cannot expect your pay to continue
to rise each year if you are still doing the same thing. Ask for help from your team leader, the ETL, and/or the STL.

Survey

The last 2 years I was a specialist they said I was capped and could not make any more that I was currently getting
because there was a limit on what a specialist could make.
Now that I am an "electronics team member" they let me keep what I was getting, but I will not get any raises because
I am making more than a electronics team member is supposed to make.
Even if they just gave a 10 cent raise per year for cost of living it would help!
Also, I used to always get 40 hours a week for years, but now sometimes I only get
32-35.
Im still doing the same job I did as a specialist only my title changed not the work....
changing the title was just an excuse to pay the new electronics tm's less and freeze the pay of the old ones.

The jist is everyone hates working for Target more than ever thus stupid ideas like team member alignment instead doing something effective.

In my 20+ years of experience with spot I have never heard of that. Capped is an excuse for not giving you a raise.
The only thing I can think of is that things might be different in your area of the country.

I don't like team member alignment, because it usually means that we all work harder with fewer team members, but with that being said, at least we are still working.
Many companies have failed.

I've heard so many complaints on here about team alignment and I, for one, am a huge fan of it, so I'm confused. What exactly do you mean by your statement? Is scheduling changing b/c of team alignment? hours? My store must be doing this differently than others.

It means you can now get micro-managed in smaller groups by multiple levels of leadership.

I have been capped for more than 4 years. In order to get a raise, which will not be the same percentage as an uncapped tm with the same score, I must achieve an E or an O. Last year it was 2%. It made me feel so motivated to continue doing the excellent work that they said that I am doing. My bills only went up an average of 7%. (I think it would have been nice if the pay increases were at least aligned with the increases in the costs of insurance premiums, deductibles, and out of pocket expenses.) It's nice to know that my hard work and great work ethic are paying off outside of SpotsWorld.

I have to say, though, that I like what I do (mostly) and I have a job that provides me with full time hours, benefits, and flexibility.
