Hello all, I have been lurking in here for a few weeks and love reading all of your horror stories. I am new to the forum but not new to Target. In fact, this is my 3rd time....Yes I've quit and relapsed twice. The first time was in college as a Backroom team member. Lasted 3 months.
I came back 6 years later as an ETL-log. Made it 2 years. I never fit in with the "Culture". Especially since I had 4 years of management experience from another company. I had moved on from the "glory days" of college, but the new ETL's straight from the university seemed so blind to the real problems. So I left for another job.
Well... After about a year away, I came back. This time as a Flow team member. I did it because I need the money (college loans are the death of me), the discount, and the flexibility. I'm still working my other salaried job, but with kids to feed you gotta make sacrifices.
So I look forward to reading all your great stories and insights, at least until I leave target someday again.
