As the Signing Ninja I was all over the store and heard the TMs bitch and whine constantly about things that weren't working,
I'd ask if they had put in a work order and even the TL would stare at me blankly so I'd go put one in then give our SFT the heads up.
It takes like 5 minutes max, if you don't have it bookmarked.

I am a team member and getting paid team member wages. This goes above my job duties.

Can you at least agree that it is frustrating to give an ETL the benefit of the doubt only to have them again and again either forget or fail to do what you asked them? I always hear the closing LOD talk about "I will put that in my closing notes" yet nothing. If I tell an ETL that a machine is broken and ask them politely to put in a service request for it, I expect some professionalism from the ETL. You are getting paid big bucks to baby sit all of us so you're gonna have to step up and do the duties of the baby sitter.

Here is how I teach my team how to put in service requests:
SFT's use a workbench (so log onto workbench)
SFTs are at the bottom and use tools (go to the bottom under tools and click on MyFacilitie Service Request Form)

It only takes about 1 minute to put in a SR
