I don't believe you cant. Once you clocked off you are gone. Unless you volunteer to do so and just do a punch correction.

Yeah I'd say no on that, but I'm no compliance expert.

If you volunteer to punch back in, nothing wrong with it, but if for instance they ask you to punch back in to put you on a corrective action theres something wrong with that...

If you clocked out early by mistake, then you can just clock out again at the real time and HR will delete the extra punch. If you clocked out at your normal time and left, then no. If you clocked out early and left without approval, you'll be getting coached the next time you come in...but they still can't make you clock back in.
