Archived Certain Job based on test scores

Has anyone heard of a job that isnt listed as a opening but that your placed into based on test answers and interview?

All store level positions SHOULD be listed as an opening. Even if a position opens up and the store knows who they'd like to take over, they're still obligated to post the opening.

As most positions, you interview, though I don't know of any position you take a test for.

Yea you come in, to interview for an open cashier spot, but they put you on the floor instead. I've seen that a few times.

Not sure about test scores, but if your interviewers feel like you're a better fit for another open position, then you can be offered a position that you might not have necessarily been brought in to interview for.

We had someone interview for electronics, was made GSA instead. Took him a while to realize they'd given him a really raw deal
