Crazy Busy Saturdays

So the past 2 Saturdays have just been crazy busy worst than Black Friday, we just cannot keep this up with the current staff.

The sales have been a little over 310,000 for that day alone and 90,000 to 95,000 just for food & beverage. 30,000 + dollars per hour for 6 hours straight

This is extremely exhausting to keep pushing and filling at this pace.

we aren't high volume like you but saturdays have definitely been super busy and we've also been understaffed relative to how busy it is

We didn't get hit too hard the last couple of Saturdays, even missed forecast. But it was still batshit crazy because we had nobody there working. I don't think this uh, corporate strategy, is going to pan out long-term. It's too much pressure on everyone, but they're still jamming on that accelerator.

We have been extremely busy all weekend this year in Food and Bev. Are higher than forecast every weekend.

Needless to say, the lack of hours plus this makes for a very stressed staff. Can’t even fill the floor fast enough in Produce, Meat, Dairy, Frozen on weekends, but still have rollovers and overflowing coolers because we have more work than staff hours support.

It is all profit. Less people and still +10 to +30% over projections/forecast then just Scrooge McDuck into that big ass pile of money.

your peons getting grumpy? Short their hours and get a cheaper model.

We were very busy the last couple of Saturdays too. This past one was Saturday, pre super bowl, threat of snow on Monday, and maybe some extra pre valentine traffic. Not a shit show busy, mainly because there were not a lot of call outs and the SCO and POS behaved.
