I was doing the whole enrollment thing and realized that if you've been working less than 5 years at Target, the max amount of paid vacation is 40 hours/year or 1 week. I always thought it was 2 weeks. WTH?? Am I imagining things?

ETA: I am not talking about PH or sick days. Just vacation.

in NY State u get about 40/60 hours of sick days, also 😉

It's been that way for at least 10 years.

But you can accrue up to twice this amount before it stops until you use some. And depending on whether you're a TL or TM and how long you've been with Target determines the rate of accrual.

I accrued more than 40hr last year... I think I was somewhere around 55. But I think that was from the OT I worked that put me over.

How does overtime equate to vacation?
