Some time back our new GE (now S&E) ETL said the G-R and speed ratings were no longer enforced as the company wanted better guest service and better presentation of RCs with guests. We haven't received those weekly speed and G-R reviews with our TLs in a long time.

The G-R and speed ratings still exist on the system. Does your store still use them to grade and rate you?

there isn’t a physical way to pull the speed report anymore. they still show up in pos from time to time but they aren’t tracked.

Good to know. A TM can pull up their own G-R and transaction totals by running a price inquiry then exiting, it will display on the screen. While my numbers are excellent, I am glad it's no longer an issue since those measures focus more on speed than on service quality. One guest who is slow getting their payment ready counted as an R, and an R counts as 10 times the weight of a G. It's far better to give our guest undivided attention - GUEST acronym.:)
