Archived Employee Discounts on phones?

Is it only for the Phone bill itself or can you get a decent on a device purchase as well?

For instance, AT&T offers a 21% discount.

They put you in the "Premier" category, which gives you special offers when buying/upgrading phones. I'm not sure if there are many differences than the real store.
