Archived First day tomorrow, have a few questions!

(I'm in Illinois and will be working hardlines and cashier)
1. Where should I go when I first show up? I'm assuming I should go to the team member room and ask the lady at the HR desk?
2. I don't have an employee number? When will I get this?
3. How do I go about my tax info? Do I fill this out after my first or second day? I believe I only have to do a W2. Can someone explain this a little better?

All help would be greatly appreciate, thanks!

1. That's correct. Most likely you'll go to the checklanes to start with cashier training. Every floor TM is expected to be able to back-up cashier.
2. If they don't have your TM# yet, you'll have to do a paper punch correction (from the HR lady) so you'll get paid for your time. You can still do cashier training but it will have to be under a trainer's number.
3. Your HRTM can help you with your W2 & can also talk to you about direct deposit, et al.
