To anyone that has worked the front end and has seen a front end TM get promoted to GSTL (or have been promoted yourself), what are the signs that the TM is being groomed for that position?
 
Cross trained at Guest Services. Team Trainer. Allowed to cover GSTL breaks. Increased recognition from leadership is also a sign that the ETLs are taking notice of that team member. They'll usually have a Team Lead who is mentoring them, officially or unofficially, and explaining larger scope functions and processes in the store, as well as the details of their job.
