I'm looking for ideas. What kind of things are you putting up front?

Notebooks, and pen/markers that are in a pack. Make sure they're in a pack because the single ones are stolen so often. Notebooks sale like hotcakes and being up front you'll definitely drive sales.

We made a nice looking back to school endcap.

Nope. We have like 3 HBA endcaps and 2 paper endcaps though.

Meanwhile all of our BTS-related shippers are still backstocked in the steel.

Maybe check with the backroom and see if they have any school supplies shippers? Then take the items out and create a checklane endcap out of it?

BTC Endcaps should have come in week 7/23 POG workload. Dollar Spot had a huge BTS set a few weeks back, AND there is a SPL in that 7/23 POG on the Lanes that allows you to make your own endcap.

Personally, I strongly urge against putting supplies such as pencils, pens, paper, etc. on a lanes EC, you will be filling that every time you turn around, not to mention adding a 3rd or 4th location to the DPCI.

Our store used the lanes SPLs to focus more on BTC, and used the open SPL to place low-dollar small appliances for dorm students (ex. coffee maker, toaster, alarm clock, etc.)

Talk to your signing person. They should have gotten in a box of checklane headers for BTS/BTC related stuff.
