Holiday Hours

Did you all see extended holiday hours are starting early this year? Early as in the week of Dec. 8.

Sucks for those of us with 2 jobs and who work the closing shift at Target.

Why does it suck? Obviously if you have a second job with regular hours, your availability will reflect that, right?

And I see we’re open until 10pm again on Christmas Eve. Nope. Don’t like that.

I haven’t gotten a Tuesday shift since August, watch Christmas Eve be the first Tuesday in 4 months I’m scheduled.

Target gets entirely too much business Christmas Eve when the other stores close. It’s all about the money. Our store gets a mad rush of guests after Walmart and competitors close. So much that we have a few cops on hand to help usher the guests out at closing that just don’t want to leave. It’s ridiculous but hey- it’s retail. If people are willing to shop then the company is willing to stay open.
