I'm up for internal promotion passed all interviews and was made offer but I have a petty misdemeanor conviction for delinquent student loans that I didn't have during hire as tl.which was from several years ago After going to court for over a year and change for this case I was given probation. As result of courts realising that there wasn't a solid case. But restitution needed to be paid for student loan

Will they still promote being that I was upfront and explained the case as well it was 1st ever offense. I have been with the company for 2 years as team leader in very good standings.

If you're already a TL then I don't think they would do a background check for any promotions. If you were made an offer and you accepted, you should have the job.

Shouldn't need a check unless you moved to pharmacy or AP.
