I'm a TL who has been at spot about 1 year. Have a degree. About how long do people work at spot before they get promoted from TL to ETL. Seems like I hear 18 months is normal?

What is the interview process like for these internal promotions? How long?

Also, do people often get promoted to other departments other than the one they were a TL for?

If you get promoted to Sr.TL instead of ETL does your 18 month thing start over?

Depends on area. Spot is known to ask you to take a srtl job, first. Do it. On etl side, 18 months of waiting for a job at a different store with no life.. The pay is about the same.
