Archived Is it normal for stores to have basically no training?

When our last receiver put in his notice, the store waited until he left to start to think about coverage or replacements. Which took two or three weeks to get sorted.

By the time I got the job it took a couple weeks before they got around to sending me to another store for two days of training. Whose receiver didn't know I was coming. Before that I had to learn off workbench and a TM who had sort of done receiving years ago.

Sometimes i think "training" is a four letter word at Target.

As someone who was given about 3 hours of training at Target cafe and then expected to close the next night alone?
