I am getting tired of Electronics, there isn't an opening in AP and i can't do 40 hours.
They won't give me a GSA position either even being told many times they would start working me there.
HR deals with senative information of other TMs. I doubt it is a position you can casually cross train and pick up shifts in. Someone correct me on this one.
Guessing ASANTS but we have two HR team members, one was an operator/soft lines and the other was a cashier/guest service. They still get shifts in those work centers and shifts in HR/clerical.

Definitely not a position you cross train in to pick up hours, your best chance in is if you are serious about doing it long term or your ETL HR needs a backup when the HRTM doesnt come in.
I know my ETL HR would not let just anyone cross train in our area because we handle sensitive stuff. LOAs, coachings, terminations.
The tricky thing is stores usually get a set number of hours for HR and so the HR TMs are on set schedules. Not like sales floor where they can use flex to train cashiers.
If you are serious about HR long term you can talk to your ETL HR and see if her team needs help.
The good thing about the HRTM position is that it usually comes from an internal hire. The tricky thing is if the people who work there are getting full hours and are content there isnt really a way in because most stores have at most 2 HRTM.
My HR ETL apparently is gone already. Got the news yesterday that he was leaving next week. Makes me wonder what happened. Now there is just me 😱😱. No word of a replacement ETL. Our store isn't big, no need for an HR TL or two HR TM but we need an HR ETL.
