I'm not sure how everybody else's store/district is but I came to the point to where I was done. 9 Years, SRTL LOG with the company, outstanding reviews and raises that came before my annual and I'm leaving the place I started when I was 18. Our store has gone completely downhill and I can't go down with the company. Our store has gotten so rough you cannot believe it. 6Am, i get the strategy...6AM logistics with average 25 on flow, 20 after 8am, and expecting to run a truck on black friday? I'm sure other stores have done this but in our area, our needs are different. Canadians cannot sign up for our card anymore which is a HUGE hit considering our business mix is about 40% canadian...
Here is a strategy that we started that we began that I just cannot come to stakes with..
Our morning sales floor team is suppose to be leaders (TL, SRTL, ETL/LOD) and the closing team gets staffed heavier with more team members because we don't have ever schedule them in the morning....Here's what happens. Me (a SRTL) gets to do everything while the ETL/LOD team is off the floor doing whatever. So the STL drops probably 200-500 depending batches plus PTM seasonal areas, and expects her leaders to grab the call buttons, drive red cards etc. while she goes off floor. Now, I wouldn't have a problem with that, except her leadership team is off the floor too...Our service scores and such literally dropped 15% in the week we started and guess who gets blamed...SF/SRTL woo!
Not sure how everybody else is fairing. But I couldn't do it anymore. THis company used to be about team work, THE VISION which I loved. Not so much now. Probably is not a general Target thing but I can only go off my past store.. Yeah...Do NOT go to MONTANA stores lol!
