I started at Target back in March as a full time team member in Frozen Foods and even though I’m not eligible for coverage for many months to come I am trying to look up all the information of the plans and coverage that is offered that shows pricing, deductibles, copays, ... etc.

Whenever I have asked HR they direct me to use the pay and benefits website but it really doesn’t provide any useful information. Doesn’t show what the plan cost are or what companies provide insurance and all the stuff that I need.

Does anyone have a copy of there coverage they could screen shot or take a picture of just so I can have a rough idea of what is offered it would be greatly appreciated.

Yes i understand that you have to work for a year and maintain certain hours. My question was is there a real information I can see about the plans that are offered through target?

I have a wife and child Who will be on my plan and I just want to see what the differences are since I’m told that there is a HRA and a HSA and never had that before so I would like to see what The premiums, deductibles, co-pays, and related information are.

You won't be able to view them until you qualify sorry. I have a high deductible HSA its $110 per check with dental and vision equipment insurance (vision is free...) l also have the hospital insurance (they pay you if you get sick) and life insurance for my kid. That's pretty cheap compared to most employers

Rates don't change that significantly year over year, maybe a few dollars, sometimes up, sometimes down. Last year I had the family coverage for the HRA plan with a $2000 deductible and it cost me about $215/paycheck. This year I switched us to Bind (being tested in 3 states only) and we pay $200/paycheck with no deductible, all costs are known up front for any services. I pay for the enhanced dental coverage which costs about $40/paycheck. Vision is about $6/paycheck.

@SigningLady Thank you. Do you know what the ER, Urgent Care, Doctor Visit and Specialist Visit Co-Pay Fees are?

I have to see a Pain Management Specialist Doctor Every month And currently pay $125 for cash price and usually get Lumbar Injections 1-3 times per year but have not been able to Have the injections since they cost several thousand dollars without insurance.

For my current coverage (which I think is only offered in MN, FL, and TX), ER is $350, Urgent Care is $150, doctor and specialist visits range from $10-90. Lumbar pain injections are considered an add-on but range from $10-950.

With the HRA, doctor visits cost us about $300 every visit until we met the deductible. $10 for multiple visits a year because I have young kids who catch many germs is a lot easier to manage!

For me + 1 adult child, I pay $67.50 per check for a United Healthcare HSA with a $4,100 deductible. I think Bind was very similar in price.

Target insurance coverage is horrible. If you really need med insurance get a real job. Many employers begin coverage from day 1.

It really depends on personal perspective. My husband has one of these "real jobs" you mention. And medical coverage for our family through his employer would be almost $1000/month and cover less compared to the $400/mo we spend for the coverage Target offers. From my perspective, it ain't too shabby.

I have health insurance through my other "real" job. I pay $800/month for family coverage with a $3500 deductible. I am hoping I finally get to the average hour threshold so I can get coverage through Target bc hopefully its better than that.
