Hr at first said that since we were moving to 6am, they didn't wan't out pay to change so they were going to use last years averaged hours work to add in. Like, we were a 4 am store, so if you only worked from 4am to 8am, you'd get a whole dollar added to your pay-rate . If you worked 4am to 12:30, you'd get .50 cents. You guys can see the pattern.

Well, HR decided it was too much work to do all that and just decided to give the entire Flow Team a whole dollar increase so starting base is 9.75, almost 10.00 if you factor in the recent new review raises.

So with that, my review and recent min wage increase, I've gotten 3 "raises" within 2 months.
 
This happened at my store when we moved to a 6am process as well (many years ago now). New hires will NOT be brought in with that extra dollar.
 
They did that with mine as well...any teams that worked overnight...(presentation, flow, backroom overnight)...they all got the pay raise. All new hires did not get the extra dollar differential either.
