New to the forum and have been reading as many threads as possible that pertain to me. I'm going for an interview soon and was wondering what I should be expecting for pay for team lead of electronics.

-Associates in business and engineering
-Few semesters left for bachelors in business
~4 years in food retail
~10 years in luxury customer service business

Previous engineering job payed $25, can I reasonably negotiate for $22-26?

Target doesn’t pay nearly that high for TL’s unfortunately

Short answer: no

You may be able to negotiate ≈ $18, but even that might be a stretch.

Long answer, LOL no.

Seriously dude, idk if your trolling or not but look outside of retail OR finish your bachelors and apply as an Assistant Manager (ETL) at Target. An ETL at Target can expect to make that range in pay.

We will give you an TL spot the second one comes available, but let’s get you on the payroll first.

Two years later, “Hey guys, did a TL spot open yet?”
In my district both TLs and ETLs have been dropping like flies. Lots of opportunities for the right people.

If you're in a $15/hr minimum metro area I'd say you're looking at $19-$21. Otherwise it'd be $16-$18.

Hell to the no

What? For a tl position??!! No way! Etls start around $24 an hour/they’re salary.

Took the market TL a couple months ago, told 16, actual 15.50. Guy from my dpt got a temp TL and gets paid more, WAY LESS experience.
