Hey team,

After three years of working at target, I have only been a front end team member. I was a GSA before I got promoted to Hardlines TL and now this is my second day in training at another target location. My main focus is going to be in C and D block which is domestics, plastics, bath, ect. Any advice on what I should expect/do? I am unsure how any of the Hardline process works, but plan on being successful.

Welcome to the B.R.

There are several threads of information about this topic and I am sure others will post with advice here for you. Heres a couple links:

I don't know how much you know of hardlines but it isn't too crazy. Endcaps, zone, pogs, zone, re-shop and zone... Also, don't expect too much help, ever. Depending on your store size you may have as few as 2 closers.

Greetings and salutations.
I always recommend you build a good relationship with your signing ninja.
They will be able to make sure you have the right fixtures you need, the signs for your focals, and anything else you might need.

As a former Signing Ninja and current Team Lead, I 100% agree with this.

Also, focus on forming a great partnership with the other HL TLs, as well as your Presentation TL. You are likely to have a lot of SPs to set in Domestics, and pushing Big Team culture by helping out other TLs when your workload is lighter will make you a lot of friends and come back at you.
