I've worked in packing before as a seasonal associate. I didn't know if warehouse operations worker was like inbound or outbound or if it's something different.

You're a warehouse worker not a packer. As to which department it could Inbound/Outbound/Warehouse/MBP or if your building has it, a receive center.
