Archived No primary journals...what the...????????

Every K-2nd grader has to have a primary journal. We never have enough of them So they are one of the first high demand items we sell out of every year. So this year we don't have them at all! There are hundreds & hundreds of schools around here. Since our guests can't buy them here they have to go else where. Thanks Spot! You are practically forcing our guests to shop at our competitors! Many of them think that since they have to go to another store they will just wait and buy everything there. Why Spot why?

We went through that last year with the mats that kids use in school for nap time....we didn't have them. We have in years past. However, if you wanted a battery operated, mini chandelier for your locker....spot has one just for you . 🙂

They're the special kind of composition notebook on the right of the picture. Has the penmanship lines and a spot to draw a picture.

Why? Sales are down, hours are cut & we can't manage to stock the basic things people buy every freaking year! This is driving me crazy! You know we did not have graduation gift cards or gifts? We have about a dozen collages, universities & tech schools around here. Also, tons of high schools but we don't have graduation gifts! Who's running this company? No one at my store gives a crap about any if this. One thing that I've noticed at my store is a contempt for our guests. For example if I try to tell someone why it's a bad thing that we don't have the journals, the typical response will be something negative about our guests. This comes from the top on down. Sorry, I'm just really really tired. Also a bunch more of our good TMs just quit & I glad for them, but it bums me out too.

Yes, nap mats are ALWAYS in short supply, but we ALWAYS have tons of folders and such left over.... GET IT STRAIGHT SPOT!!!!!

[rant]Spot does not care about the stores anymore, only about the almighty dollars going to the shareholders as dividends..... What, sales are down because we didn't order the right assortment for the stores or ship it too late for them to sell it??? NO PROBLEM!!!! Just cut the stores payroll more!!!!!! Maybe we should just stop giving out those expensive 6 cent raises to people who work 12-15 hours a week??? That would save almost $20 per pay period!!!!! Remember, we can give the guest $20 off something in a flash, but heaven forbid a SINGLE TM get $20 more every 2 weeks!!!![/rant]

It helped a dyslexic keep things in order. And I figured that out on my own, but the lists are just crazy.

We don't have Prang watercolors this year. Almost every list in the years past has had Prang watercolors. We've only ever had one peg of them, they sell out immediately, and we maybe get replenishment once through the season which immediately sells out. So this year I guess spot decided it was easier to not carry them.

I love the green pens or pencils on lists. Supposedly, not negative like the red pen or pencil.

I bet a small amount of money I probably don't have that you have them and either 1. they are a mispick or unlocated in your backroom or outside trailer if you have one. Every year for BTC 3-4 of stuff goes "missing" then mysteriously appears and ends up as salvage because lazy sob's can't or won't keep track of things.
