Lucky. Any time I go to Aldi, I'm always jealous that their cashiers get to sit down.

If you get a doctor note...target will let you have a stool at the check lane. We have two cashiers at my location that use a stool

Aldi also gives you the boot if your cashier speed is too slow. Can't rely on fast service if a grocery store only has 6 people on duty.

I have only seen lightning fast Aldi cashiers,all they have to do is scan and take money,the only time they even slow down is when that customer has to find that 98 cents in loose change they just know they have in their bag

Just ask for a stool and say standing too long causes you back pain. They'll give you one.

At my store, they used to put you on the express lanes every shift if you couldn't do the regular lanes for medical reasons. Now they just put you on self checkout.
