So I’m a cashier and I want to pick up shifts on Kronos but if the posterior says guestservice/front end/ cashier does that mean you could also be working at the guest service desk? It’s also an 8 hour shift and the most I’ve worked was 5.5 ( for some reason when I asked for a 6 hour shift they said no it’s confusing for breaks or whatever, maybe cuz I’m partime idk??). I’m only trained as a cashier anyways and last time when I tried to pick up a shift similar to this I was denied.

You may be in a six hour state. If you have to take a 45 minute unpaid meal break before your sixth hour then there's no point in working exactly six. You'd just lose time.
