Archived Orientation, Training, Black Friday, Anxiety.

Aloha all!

I'm currently new to Target and this site. I'm located in Hawaii, and I'm super nervous for my 2nd day of training. During orientation, I missed the first 45 minutes of it because I was supposedly 'late' when I was 'on-time' and I don't know if I missed any important information. The HR dude didn't say I missed anything.

I have a few questions,

1. How do we get the pin number for our register?

2. Do we have a set time to take our breaks?

3. Any tips for someone new?

4. I work on Thanksgiving/Black Friday, (overnight shift).. Any tips for me?

5. How do I refer someone? My friend filled an application a few days ago. I wanted to refer him to HR, do I just tell HR or is there a process or paperwork I need to fill out?

1. You create your pin when you log on the register for the first time.
2. Yes. Your team lead for whatever area you're working in will tell you when your breaks/lunch are. Let them know when you are leaving the floor for said breaks/lunch.
3. Search for threads related to your area, get there early, never be afraid to ask questions, push red cards.
4. Rest up & stock up on your energy drink of choice.
5. Tell your HR your friend's name & that he submitted an application.
