Not huge on the three weeks scheduling notice. We already get two weeks and it's nearly impossible to make plans because of it. Want to make plans? Ask for this day three to four weeks in advance. None of my friends or even family make plans that far out, usually "hey want to do something this weekend?" Which I have to respond with "sorry, I would have had to ask back in June"
That's my individual situation, I have a fixed schedule so I know what I'm working, I do see the benefits to team members who's schedules are changing on a week by week basis
