Affordable Care Act Form (1095) - Benefits Tax Statement

New this year, Target is required to provide a 1095 form to team members that were eligible for medical benefits in 2015. If you receive the 1095 form, have it available when you file your taxes.

Receive it electronically – Sign up by Jan. 8:

1. Log in at www.paperlessemployee.com/Target

·Use your existing User ID and Password; do not create a new account

2.Select to receive your 1095 form electronically by selecting Account Settings > View / Update Contact & Notification Options

3.Save Notification Option Settings before logging out

Note: Electronic 1095 will be available around Jan. 22. If you do not sign up for an electronic 1095, and were eligible for medical benefits, you will receive a paper 1095 mailed to your home address on file.

Thank you, I just downloaded it. I'm holding off though because I want to use the return on something coming out in the spring.

Is it too late to switch over to electronic delivery (versus receiving it in the mail) right now? Or do I just have to wait for it to come in the mail?

That's weird. It should be ready to download for everyone. Try again tomorrow. Also try a different web browser, or different computer.

That is illegal. It's a government requirement of Jan. 31. I would speak to HR right away, if they turn you down talk to a good TAX lawyer. I know of someone who got a 1k settlement for not having a W-2 by the 31st.

Hmm, I googled that and this is correct, who knew? Not me. Ya learn something new every other day :p

You can log back in & change your delivery to electronic but make sure you've got a good printer (& a fresh cartridge) because it's some pretty fine print.

question: if i forgot my security question answers should i just call the number that they gave???? it's been a while since i've logged in

Just ran it through turbotax, it didn't ask anything about the 1095 beyond if I was insured the whole year or not. Because I'd be annoyed having to wait til the 22 just to finish filing early.
