I was offered a season position at a UDC and was told that they use seasonal hiring as a probationary period and that most likely within 90 days I can be offered full time so long as I perform exceptionally. Has anyone else experienced this or does anyone know what the actually likelihood of being brought on full time is? Any help is appreciated xx

I was hired as seasonal.... store side, there were 8 of us actually . A few quit within 2-3 weeks of being hired. A few had attendance issues , call outs NCNS, and a few were terrible workers, punching in and waiting to punch out... If you really want to stay after the seasonal offer, work hard. Don't ever stand around and chat. When a task is done go to your team leader and ask for more work. Notice things to do on your own. Make it known that you enjoy hard work. Befriend a TL, meaning be one good terms with him/her. Do all that and You will be offered a position at the end of your seasonal contract 100%.
