This would be a question for a 'ship from store' store or anyone else that may have an answer.
I am a store that is a 'ship to store' store. At times packages come in with no invoice anywhere, not inside or outside. I know that we are to call the help desk in those cases however I was wondering if there was any information on the shipping label that would have the invoice number printed on it?
Sometimes calling the help desk is not helpful and was trying to see if there may be another way to receive the package into our system.

On the tracking label there is a reference number, it usually starts with 114 or 115 on the ones that i have seen. If you type in 9859 in receive followed by the reference number you can pull up the order.

Thank you! We got a tv in last week with no invoice on it, and we didn't know what to do with it. Last I heard, they tossed it up on the steel and we're just going to put it on the shelf in a couple of weeks. I will see if it's still there tomorrow and try that.

On certain packages, you can scan the actual shipping label and it will work. You should also be able to manually key in the package's full tracking number and that will work too.

Calling the CSC for no packing slip is useless. I once had one of them insist that I needed to call guest relations to get the order number... I called back the next day and that guy basically said "wtf? no you don't."
