Why doesn't target have their own soda brand? I was always curious about that. Every other store has their own

I would love to see what names they would come up with for their sodas.

well i call it Pop ...

Lol. Apparently I'm supposed to call it coke according to that chart. I don't and I've only met a few people that refer to all soda as coke. I grew up next to a family whose mother was from Minnesota and they called it pop.

There was the Market Pantry brand of sodas long time ago. But they were pulled around 2006-2007 or sometime after as part of a MP/AF re-branding phase.

The rumor was that Coke and Pepsi strong armed Target into giving up the MP soda line to continue receiving their brands.

But I also heard Corp was wanting to cut costs on a number of Target brand items which compared to distributor maintained inventory (Coke/Pepsi).

In NC, there are also Sundrop, Cheerwine, and the mysterious Cherry Soda

Not anymore, at least not where I am. It was a Sunday Monday deal
I think it reverted back to 4/$10 here, which still isn't bad. And Pepsi 12-packs are 25% off on cartwheel.

So no one calls them "fountain drinks" like George Lopez said?
