What to do with items I back stocked because the shelf or location is full, and there is no second location, and yet it keeps coming back to me the next shift? Do I just keep sending it back? Interestingly, there are a lot of other shelves that are empty, for the same type of item, but different UPC label. It bothers me because the item seems to be trapped in a loop.

I am a flow tm. If the item is not on a hanger or considered accessories (except umbrellas) it will be back stocked after checking for second locations. For my own satisfaction I would get a PDA, using sto and see if the message says it should be pushed to floor. That might explain why it continues to come out, however, it does not mean you have room at the correct location. You are new, kudos to you for asking and looking for a solution. If I were you I would ask your tl and explain it just like you did here. Good luck!

Also clearance items and Ptm should not be back stocked. The counts could be off in the backroom. Your best bet is to partner with your tl.

It depends on your store. My store is a push all for hanging items. If the rack is full, we have to rearrange racks to make it fit and keep like items together.
