Legend has that if you say Target, they will find out through a search or something of the sorts. So if you say something bad about the company and say Spot, you aren’t caught talking bad about the company.

Our company mascot is Spot the dog. I guess they call him bullseye now lol

I didn't know the Target Dog was called "Bullseye" until they changed "One Spot" to "Bullseye's Playground."

One spot is a much better name IMO but I guess since stuff was more than one dollar they had to change it
