What are breaks like at target? Do they have free food for you to eat?

Im new and want to know how lunch breaks are and do they provide with food or do ypu have to waste $100 a month for that?
Did you know that even though it's called a "lunch break," you actually aren't required to eat anything during that break?

Be a big boy and plan ahead by packing a lunch or some snacks. Or just drink water and wait until you get home to eat. Nobody is forcing you to go buy fast food every day.

Ummm has anyone ever worked any minimum wage job where your employer feeds you every day, I don't even think that happens at high paying jobs either

Yup, even Microsoft which has free milk, water, soda, every liquid you can think of you have to pay at the cafeteria. We aren't a fast food restaurant so the OP troll needs to apply at McDonald's asap

Sometimes market will bring QMOS to the breakroom, usually donuts & danishes.
So much for Wellness Wednesdays.

Yeah my AA market brought in food everyday. It was pretty sweet. My current store has nothing and definitely no PBJ. Not even cable in the breakroom.

I can feed myself pretty well with ramen noodles, tuna and a drink for about 2.80 with my team member discount.

Husband used to work for a lab that brought in Jason's Deli almost every day.
He put on 5 lbs during that job.
I worked at a McAlisters Deli for a month before Target. I lost about 10lbs for not eating because of all the steamed deli meat I was around.

We have food in the breakroom pretty frequently. Most of the time it's bananas that are about to go, baked goods that were couponed yesterday, that sort of thing. Our HR tries to keep up with FFF events; on Cinco de Mayo we had nachos. Of course there's also the obligatory PB&J and coffee.

I wish we had a coffee machine in our break room. I'd be at least 3 times happier at work.

We have a kuerig and a regular coffee maker. There is always coffee.

Keurig, a coffee pot, and a Nesspresso(a vendor left the one they used for a tasting and they never came and got it back). You supply your own coffee. 🙂

You can always trade pods for flavors, and you can always find some in a desk drawer, just leave money or a trade pod.. 🙂
