After having numerous guests asking us when we're getting coconut milk - and us telling them we don't have any - Starbucks makes a surprise announcement.

Anyone get a heads-up on this? I noticed coconut milk available to order on our last order guide but my SBTL hadn't ordered any.

You were supposed to find out when the signing packet came in, which would have been a week after you were supposed to start serving it.

Nope....nothin' in Siren's Eye or anything. SBTL didn't seem to know anything either.
Guess we'll be ordering coconut milk next week.

I'd heard all the milk snobs talking about how they 'didn't do soy' & always asked me if we had almond milk or whatever was the latest foodie fad.
This should be fun.

It's about time. Starbucks is (was) years behind by not having non-soy non-dairy alternatives.

Our store got coconut milk like a week ago. It's still not in POS or on any of our signing.

It'll be an add-charge same as the soy so we'll just hit that until it appears.

Off-topic: anyone know when the holiday drinks drop off the POS?
We finally used up some & pitched the stuff that expired tho some guests STILL ask for it.
Some lady couldn't understand why SB couldn't keep them YEAR-ROUND.
Didn't get far trying to explain 'limited edition', 'rotation of seasonal promotions' & other business logic so I simply said "SB doesn't want people to get burned out on pumpkin spice, etc."
