How long do I have to be at target as a GMTL before I can transfer to a location closer to my school?

I havent had to transfer as a TL, but ive known 2 team leads that have transferred per there request, and both had to stay at there current store for a a while first. One i know waited 2 months the other wanted to do it before 4th quarter, i think they asked in august to transfer in september and wasnt able to transfer till February. When i transferred as a tm i got to go after 3 weeks.

Took me around 5 months to transfer from
My home store to a different district. And took about 2 days for my home store to take me back lol

Interesting situation...I am wanting to transfer to a different district and they have accepted but since my store is going through a ton of changes I am pretty sure they will say no. Have a chat with DTL this week to see what they say but I am guessing it is a no.

I did. They have accepted, however they want approval from current store as Q4 begins.

Talk to your stl. You should told them first. You need their blessing. I would not talk to your dtl. They will ask your SD about it.
