I accepted a job elsewhere. Same rate of pay, but its effectively doubling my paycheck by virtue of the fact that I'll be getting full time hours and benefits.

This is also a very good lesson as to why you NEVER broadcast it to everyone. you keep your mouth shut until you know you have the job and orientation date set.
