Heyy guys, I'm new here though I've been a lurker for a while now 😀 I was hired as seasonal but still am at my store(Not even sure if I'm off my seasonal.TYPICAL TARGET. I work in Electronics dealing with those pesky people calling in every 5 mins asking about the dam ps4. I previously worked at another Target a few years back as Electronics member but was dropped like a fly as soon as seasonal ended(Conspiracy). Hope I can use this site to learn more stuff because I plan on moving up in the corporate ladder and eventually becoming miserable because of it 😀

I've had some funny calls about it though and it seems to have died down a little bit with the calls but when we replenish they're still gone about 2 hours later haha

We can't keep em in stock at all. As another user previously said they come in on UPS or Fedex. A couple weeks ago there was actually a small line of about 4 people outside our store before opening, they were waiting for the PS4, told them we didn't have any and wouldn't know when we would be getting them. To my surprise one of the people in line tells me they already knew fedex was making a delivery of them that morning........WTF

Its bad when the customers know when we will get the product before we know.

The operators usually let whoever calls know if we have them in but then again people just want to ask the workers who are actually up there in electronics. I always love it when we do have ps4s and they try giving us their credit card info to purchase it from the phone. It's almost like hey thanks m'am/sir for purchasing me a brand new ps4 with 4 games and an extra controller!

This lady got rude with me after I denied her and after explaining it with details she kept acting like I was working against her. I was even suggesting buying it from the online store for store pick-up so that bypasses our "We can't hold items that are popular/on sale" policy we run. After all the help I could get her she still yelled so much my TL came for the save and set her straight.. Thank god for the "In your face" TLs!

You can only do them if your merchant agreement allows for it. I guarantee Spot's does not.

Amusingly enough, we've had a handful of PS4s. Nowhere else has them. Of course, when I was in Best Buy the other day and overheard someone mention that no one has them, I sent them to my store. :spiteful: Told them to drop my name to the "manager" 😛
