Using sick time

Does anyone know how to use sick time on the MyTime app? I missed work today and have been trying to figure out how to use my sick pay.

In my state Target apparently has to offer sick pay.

It shows up in My Time Self Service.

AFAIK it can't be requested through the system so you have to get a note to the HR ETL.

I would also give one to your TL AND FOLLOW UP WITH THEM.

I couldn't get sick pay for a day I specifically asked not to be scheduled however.

The lesson learned there is I should schedule my doctor's appointment on a day I work, call in sick, then ask for sick pay!

When you go to put time off just select sick time .
Just make sure it gets approved before payroll Monday 10 am

I believe sick pay doesn't have to be approved by the store just corporate.

In the past our HR ETL would just sit on it.

I have put in sick pay in the past and it was in my time card within 24 hours.

I called off sick in a recent month on at roughly 9:00 AM.

My PTO sick pay was added the next day at roughly at 4:00 AM though it was only 4 hours.

Also screen shot it because it disappears in the app quickly.
