I would still be able to use my TM discount when I use a gift card AND cash, right?

Basically two payments in one transaction.

I know you can use your discount when paying in gift cards, cash, and Target check card but cant use it when you use a check, credit and debit card. I'm not sure though if I would be able to use my discount if I pay using two acceptable payments (gift card and cash).

Yes you can.

Although I wouldn't use a gift card that you just purchased with your credit card (to get the discount), they can actually track that.

You can also use your discount when paying with a check.
