I made an obscure post on this yesterday, but I'll make it an official thread.

I know it can be tricky for noobs to figure out if a salesplanner goes on a front or back endcap. On my first day of TL training, a few years ago, one of my peers explained it to me like this, "The word 'front' has an ODD number of letters in it. The word 'back' has an even number of letters in it. Odd, front. Even, back." It made sense in my head and from that day forward I did not have to give it another thought. I taught the trick to new TM's during their orientation and that was one less thing we had to struggle with new TM's.

Dorky, but helpful?

As long as it gets explained to the new people relatively early. I went probably a month with no one telling me that. It wasn't until I went to set end caps one day that someone explained it. Wow did life make sense after that. Ever since whenever I see new people even doing reshop for the first time, I tell them about the odd/even numbers.
