Haven't had mandatories yet in OB, though I think our MBP dept. has also had mandatories the last week or two. We have however had pre-approved OT for the last 3 weeks. My bank account approves.

We have had mandatory Ot since Memorial Day. Excluding 2 or three weeks tops.

Dayum. If had access to that kind of OT, my ass would almost be upper middle class. But I guess I can dream...

It was alright at first but after the first couple months, not having a life gets a little old.

I did nine weeks of OT last year thanks to lower-than-normal seasonal hiring.

Part of our problem is the fact that the temps suck. So much, in fact, that we use two services. And their reliability is horrible. Last night we had 2 show when there should be 8, so that means 6 Tm unloaders. The other problem is the volume. 1 million carton projections. Lol.

We got a similar situation. Two temp services for the A-keys, and a separate third service for the B-keys. For us it's not so much of the temps sucking (though we do get our fair share of awful temps), but the turnover rate is so high that they just can't meet our demands.
