I don't get how anyone ever hits compliance. If you know you're going to hit it, then don't clock out for the rest of the day and do a punch correction that shows you taking a break within the time frame.

That would be time clock fraud and is punishable by termination.

You might be able to get away with that once but if you make a habit of it you will get caught and as mrknownothing pointed out you will get fired.
I know two TL who were fired for filling out mispunch forms that way.
 
If it's your first time, especially if you're front end, you won't be termed.
I hit compliance within my first 90 days, the GSTL on duty pulled me aside and explained to me what compliance was, told me next time to put my blinker on if I hit my 5th hour and still no lunch, and I was on my way.
I've never heard of anyone getting canned for compliance once.
