Archived what would happen if your lod locked you in the store

I've locked a TM in and it is definitely a final. I wasn't careless, the TM was an idiot. He was seasonal and after I checked that everyone was there and let them out, he walked away. Long story short, now I am super psycho about making sure everyone is there from the time I check to the time they are out the door.

My mgt team stays until all Tm's' get picked up.

At our store the LOD can't leave until all TMs are gone.

Our store happens to be the last place open at our shopping area (excluding a BWs) so we just make sure that there are no cars still in the parking lot.....that being said....sometimes that may not work.

In our store we have a TM who is deaf. The nights that she closes the LODs have to be real careful....sure wouldn't be good to leave a deaf person in a store. One LOD makes sure that a TM is assigned to the deaf TM and the hearing TM then is the one to make sure that the deaf TM knows that it is time to leave......so, in this case, an overhead announcement wouldn't make a difference!
