Archived Who to talk to about cross-training?

I'm a little confused as to who I talk to about moving into other departments. For the time being I work in Electronics and want to start doing ad set-up on Sunday's and maybe move over the Plano over the summer. I want Electronics to stay my main work center however. Do I talk to the ETL-HR? I talked to my HRTM about it a little while back and she has to go through the ETL and I think something was lost in translation. Is there somebody else I could talk to that would hold more weight?

Go directly to the Presentation TL and say you'd like to get some plano experience. Plano often needs extra hands for large sets or when a regular is out sick or whatever. The TL should be able to get you scheduled for some OJT shifts. If you like it, and they like you, you'll be in a good position to start getting plano shifts when they need help.
