-but they're closed toed shoes, I didn't know. "Well, they're considered slippers, and that's unprofessional so you can't wear them anymore after today."

Even though I've been wearing them for over 6 months. I'm kind of pissed but what can you do.
Anyways, does your Target store allow TM's to wear Crocs?

I have the Croc "specialist" and have worn it for years. It has a closed toe (no side holes) and a back. It is no different than any other low fitting shoe. It actually covers more of the foot than some of those stupid ballet flats I've seen ETL's wear.

If the Crocs have no holes other than the one your foot goes into, I see no reason why you couldn't wear them, other than the issue of appearances. Crocs may be comfortable, but they look terrible. Better to wear tennis shoes. Another issue might be that they're clearly slip-ons and the issue of accidentally kicking one off comes to mind.

They do make Crocs that look like loafers and dress shoes. But I think its an OSHA regulation.

Ugh. I got away with them for a year, but they're really only good if you're cashiering on a mid or something.

I've seen people wear those no heel furry slippers all the time and nothing was said...so I figured I'd just point that out if I got yelled at for wearing Crocs.

I have to say those are the most godawful "shoes", and I use that term lightly, that I have ever seen... And they are definitely not something an employee should be wearing with a uniform.

I only wear mine for around the house, quick errands, or camping.
